After the morning hike we headed towards Lake Powell, where we wanted to spend the next night.
The scenery was incredible most of the time. Going from A to B is really part of the journey as you pass lots of beautiful landscapes and there’s not a lot of traffic so even the driver can enjoy the views.
The multi-coloured, crumbly rock formations were definitely a feast for the eyes!
On our way we also stopped for another gorgeous must-see: ‘Horseshoe Bend’, an impressive meander bend of the Colorado River, located in the Glen Canyon, AZ
