Toronto 24.4-27.4

Ok, I’ll spill the beans right away: We totally loved Toronto!šŸ˜ It’s cosmopolitan and rather large-sized with lots of colossal skyscrapers but yet lovely, kind of walkable and has a lot to offer.

For example: Lots and lots of street art …

… There’s a harbor you can walk along…

… as well as massive skyscrapers and a 553 m high communications and observation tower.

Running day! Rented city bikes and headed towards the ferry which took us to the ‘Toronto Islands’ for a 16 km run. šŸƒ Killed two birds with one stone: saw the whole island while having some exercise and enjoying the amazing skyline! ā˜€ļøšŸ¤©

This, my folks, is not the sea! It’s Lake Ontario which is the world’s 14th largest lake (merely 40 times bigger than Lake Constance….šŸ˜…)
Look what we’ve got here! šŸ˜‚
🤭

A superb example of city development: the area around the old distillery was turned into a modern spot for shopping (small, owner-operated shops), dining, theatre performances etc. Well done! šŸ‘
