On our way to the next desert we luckily had to drive along what’s probably the most famous route in the US. 🙂
When driving along that road you might come across cargo trains which travel at a very slow pace (probably exactly those kinds of trains that prevent the Amtrak from ever being on time) 🤭
Those trains usually require two or even three engines. They are incredibly long and quite tall (often one shipping container on top of the other) but terribly slow.
And because gas stations do not occur very frequently they really make sure you don’t miss them 😁
